Buddha Sculpture in one piece of Aragonite natural stone, hand-carved.
Measure: depth 7cm, width 9cm, height 10cm.
The name derives from the Spanish municipality Molina de Aragòn from whose deposits the first classified specimens were produced.
Aragonite, calcium carbonate, crystallizes in the bipiramidal rhombic class, has the formula CaCO3. It is a polymorph of the higher density calcite, due to the greater coordination of the calcium, it has its stability field at higher pressure and at a lower temperature.
